Refund Policy

Effective: 1 January 2025

1. Verification Credits

Verification credits are non-refundable once consumed. Credits are deducted per successful verification request.

2. Unused Credits

Unused credit balances may be refunded within 14 days of purchase if no verifications have been run against the purchased credits. Refund requests after 14 days or after credits have been partially used are handled on a case-by-case basis.

3. Service Quality

If a verification returns an error due to a provider outage, the credit is not consumed and will remain in your balance. If you believe a verification was incorrectly charged, contact us within 7 days for a review.

4. How to Request a Refund

Email billing@seeid.co.za with your account email, the transaction date, and the amount. We respond within 3 business days.

5. POPIA Rights

This refund policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 or POPIA.
